What's Not Included

Faults caused by you or someone else you used for repairs.

Pre-existing faults, inaccessible components or system design faults.

Any faults caused by sludge, hard waterscale or blockages.

Underfloor heating, towel rails, and non-standard parts.

Excess Charge – This is the amount you have chosen to pay each time you make a claim. This will be detailed on the front page of your policy documents

If your home is empty or unoccupied for more than 30 days in a row you will not be covered for any damaged caused.

Repairs to boilers aged 7 years or older that are deemed Beyond Economical Repair*

Trace and Access - if the fault is not visible or accessible, we will not cover for the trace and access of finding the fault, this is normally covered by your building’s insurance

Boiler repairs are limited to £250 in the first three months of your cover

Damage caused by weather or freezing

Damage arising as a result of disconnection from, re-connection to or interruption of the gas, electricity or water mains services to your home

Repairs to burglar alarms, smoke detectors, electrical garage door systems and electrical gates, resetting of circuit breakers.

Can I sign up today but choose a future date for my cover to start?

Absolutely, during the checkout process you will have the option to select the date you wish your cover to start. Please note: your initial payment will be taken within five working days of signing up, followed by 11 monthly payments commencing one month after your selected start date.

Is the free boiler service a one off or is it included every year?

It’s included every year, you will be entitled to a free annual boiler service within each year of your contract. 

What is the maximum value of a single item repair?

There is no limit on the value of each claim on any of our plans.

My boiler is very old, will you still cover it?

Yes, it doesn’t matter how old your boiler is, providing it’s powered by natural gas, has no pre-existing faults and is in good working condition when you sign up.

If I make a claim, what are your average response times?

For emergency repairs (uncontrollable water leaks), our average response time is two hours. For urgent repairs (loss of heat or hot water), our average response time is 24 hours. We will try our best to schedule all other general repairs for a day and time slot to suit you.

Do you use new genuine manufacturer approved parts for repairs?

Yes, all parts used are brand new, genuine, and manufacturer approved, where applicable.
