Here’s some examples of boiler repairs in Alsager that YourRepair have completed recently:

What the problem was:Rehema Avante 35c boiler breakdown in Alsager
Rehema Avanta 35c boiler, was displaying an E5 error message. The boiler was not working at all, it was installed in 2008, and had been serviced most years since installation.

What we did:
A YourRepair Gas Safe engineer was despatched to the customers property in Alsager the following morning.  The engineer was highly experienced in boiler breakdowns, and knew that the fault was likely to be either a worn electrode or problems with the string gasket, which is situated between the burner tube and the front plate.
On arrival the breakdown engineer diagnosed that the problem was the string gasket, which needed replacing. Local suppliers were checked for stock, but part required ordering.
Due to our stock agreement, we were able to get the part delivered the following day, and, a return visit was scheduled, and the part installed.  The boiler was fully checked to ensure that the replacement part, had completely solved the problem and the boiler was running efficiently.

The customer was relieved to have been offered a fixed price repair, as she decided to take out YourCare Boiler and Central Heating Care, so that she is covered when any problems occur in the future, and due to having a family and being on a tight budget didn’t want any further unexpected bills.  Customer had a part replaced in the boiler that has solved the issue, and boiler is now functioning correctly and efficiently.  The boiler was also serviced, as part of the YourCare agreement.

Client testimonial:
Very helpful lady who answered my call, she was very patient with me, as I always ask lots of questions. They completed the repair very cost effectively, and the engineer was also very helpful. Most pleased.  I’ve taken out a plan with them on the back of their great service.  Long may it continue.

What the problem was:Blocked pilot light boiler repair in alsager
Gas boiler not igniting causing no heating or hot water from boiler.

What we provided:
This was a new customer who contacted us and wanted a reliable, local plumber to attend to the problem, as he had previously been let down by another heating engineer.
We prioritise our heating engineers diaries effectively and this enables them to keep to arranged appointment times, and more importantly not let any customers down.
The problem was confirmed to be that the pilot light tube had clogged up and our engineer immediately acted on this and resolved the problem for the customer.
The customer did say that he had attempted to have a look and fix the problem himself to save money, however our experienced Gas Safe engineer informed the customer of the risks of carbon monoxide, gas leaks and fire if the problem had not been fixed properly.

The central heating and hot water were restored for the customer, which is vital in the winter months. And the customer  was more informed regarding the risks of fixing any gas appliances  himself rather than calling for a professional.

Client testimonial:
I am so thankful to YourRepair for getting my boiler back up and running, it has been so cold, and don’t know what I would of done without it really!!

What the problem was:Worcester Bosch Pressure Release Valve
This customer had an intermittent fault on his Worcester Bosch 24i combi boiler. The boiler has been serviced every year by a plumber he has used for a long time.  The fault, started around 3 months ago, but it was only happening very intermittently to begin with, when he switcheed his boiler on, it is up and running correctly, then they noticed that there was no hot water and the central heating has gone off.  If they turn off the boiler, and wait a while, and turn it back on, it then seems to work correctly. This is now happening about 3 / 4 times per week.
The Gas Engineer that they usually use couldn’t get out to him for two  weeks, and they wanted the problem rectifying sooner.

What we provided:
YourRepair Plumbers are accredited Worcester Bosch boiler installers, so the Gas Safe engineer that was sent out to the customer, was highly experienced in working on Worcester Bosch boilers of all ages.
He identified that the pressure was zero, and this was causing the appliance to overheat, and then shut down.  The pressure dropping was related to a slight leak, that had got worse on the pressure release valve. This was repaired, and the system checked, to ensure that there was no further problems.

Due to our volume of workforce, we don’t expect customers to wait weeks for a visit, as we are a reactive company. We attended the property the same day, and repaired on the same visit.

Client testimonial:
Thank you YourRepair for such a quick response, and solving the problem.
